27 June 2007 - Photoshooting session at office Yesterday we had a photoshoot in the office. We were quite bored while waiting so we did some silly expressions. haha! • This is joyce before makeover: She is trying very hard to get her eyes to look big for the photoshoot. hee • I tried doing Xi Nu Ai Le facial expressions. haha!

17th June 2007 Grading day at SKC. I did not take grading that day but i went down to support Joyce, Ying, Yixin & the juniors. Congrats to those who passed & for those who did not do so well, work harder next time k! hee.. I was not prepared to take my grading yet so dat is why i oso muz work hard for the comin grading.
Took photo wif Renata's baby!! He is sooooo cute rite? Hope my child can also be so cute next time! haha! Beware of my strong Kiai!! Look out for the future Kendo Champ!

Juz finish watching dis HK drama. Super nice!! Highly recommended!
This drama is about this Abalone family business and the things happening in or around their family. (Very typical HK drama) But the interesting part about dis show is dat it reflects alot about ppl in real life. And the best part in the show for me is dis couple relationship. • Beware! Spoilers for those who planning to watch dis drama. • The girl is called Chang Zai Xin (Always in the heart) & the guy is called Alfred. • I'll upload some videos of the show about the couple. Very touching love story. Muz watch the show den u will know the whole story. If not u can try finding out from me. haha!

This reminds me of Singapore Team at Taiwan.
Unforgettable experience though its my 2nd time to WKC. First time when i went to Scotland for WKC 3yrs ago i felt like such a noob. haha! Although dis time felt more experience but we did not do enuf training b4 going. I wish we had more trainings wif Takeuchi sensei. Because he pushes us to fight beyond our limits. Not to restrict ourselves to wat we tink we can only do. The last few trainings wif Kanzaki Sensei & his wife was great too. Good advice and trainings.

For many ppl who tinks dat in Kendo there's alwaz a 2nd chance better tink over again. For kendo, losing is not the greatest pain. Its the regrets u have after dat. At Taiwan most of us had regrets bout our fights. But overall I'm very happy wif wat we tried to achieve. Being on the same team wif Daphne, Jaclyn & Joyce motivates me to play hard. If Ying was together dat wuld have been the best team dat we had. The Keroro Team! Haha!

Had a lengthy conversation wif Saito sensei after the matches & i couldn't help but broke down cos i told sensei dat I do not know when can we ever meet again wif the rest of the senseis. It was so touching to see the senseis who went down Taiwan 2support us & those Senseis who have helped us in the past b4 they left. All that has left for me to carry on Kendo was 2hope 2b able to see these senseis again & oso not to waste their efforts for teaching us.

At one point of time, we had alot of senseis to train us & at dat time many of us did not treasure it cos we alwaz assume they will alwaz be there. Although their hearts are still wif us but we have lost the chance 2learn from them more b4 they left. So now wat we have left are memories & their guidance 4us. We muz alwaz remember their teachings.

Very appreciate to Hasebe Sensei & Tsue sensei who continue their teachings while they r still in Singapore. We are very lucky to have them around still.

Of course i'm not going to forget Shimiyo sensei! He holds a special place in my heart cos he's like a grandfather to me after Kato sensei left. Kato sensei is like a grandfather to us all. Shimiyo sensei is a very good teacher. He taught me a lot of things in Kendo & without his teachings i wouldn't have improve so much over the months. He brings fun in Kendo 4me. Although his teachings are sometimes difficult to understand or carried out. He never stops guiding me till i master it.

My only hope now is to go Japan to work and train & see all the senseis again. I miss the Japan trip dat we had last yr. So happy to see the senseis again.

My sad story of Takoyaki. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday after work i was super hungry. Wan 2bite sumting.

I decided 2buy takoyaki from the basement of Raffles city. I bought tako(octopus) flavour and joyce bought ham and cheese. But when i bite into the takoyaki, i realise it was Ham and cheese. Ok usually i would juz forget it and juz eat it cos i dun wish 2give ppl trouble. BUT the staff was very rude during serving, so i decided to tel dem dat they gave me the wrong flavour 2let dem know how careless they were.
•
At the same time, a lady oso came back to tel dem they gave her the wrong flavour. She wanted Ham & Cheese instead. So they said sorry and gave us a new box of takoyaki.
•
BUT when i bit into the new box of takoyaki dat they gave me, I realise dat it was HAM & CHEESE again! Grrr... dey have to torture me like dat when i'm so hungry!! DEN when i cut open the rest of the takos, i realise dat one was tako and the other one was empty! Double Grrr... So i walk back again and tel dem the mistake. ok they felt very embarrassed now cos there were other customers around. I tink they finally realise dat dey have put the sign wrongly for the tako & the Ham & cheese flavour. So dey kept giving me the wrong flavour. But later they told me they ran out of tako oredi & dey ask wether do i wan the prawn flavour instead. i said NO. In the end, I had to wait for dem to make a new batch... :(

I felt sorry to Joyce cos she finish hers long ago & she waited 4me. By the time i ate the CORRECT box of takoyaki i was super full cos it felt like i ate 4 tako balls from all the earlier bitings. ~_~

Rush home to pack my stuff for training. Super rush... Me & Joyce parted at city hall station.
After i reached home & ready to leave the house, I called Joyce & she say she could pick me along the way so i waited for her & we went down together. •
Reached dojo about 830.. sigh.. super rush. It was time 4keiko when we reach. Started keiko wif Joyce first cos we were the least tired compared 2the others. I felt happy keiko wif her cos we both were not serious. Juz warming up. haha! My next keiko was wif Zhixian. He is still very good even though he long time did not train. Very happy 2c him oso. My Da Ge in Kendo. hee
My next keiko was wif Jang. I tink he became stronger compared 2the time when he juz reached Singapore. Maybe cos he preparing 4his 4th Dan grading. Very difficult 2fight him now le. & i tink he oso did not fight me seriously cos he know our level difference. I'm currently oso preparing for my 3 Dan grading now so when i fight i try to keep straight. My main problem now is i move back too much. I wish Shimiyo sensei was around 2correct me. Miss him so much. •
Next i fought wif dis guy who juz came from Canada wif the same surname as me. He is super fast. He fights like Japan high school students. Very tough opponent to play wif. haha! but after finish training he told me his mum has the same name as me. Stella Wong. Nice name. haha! Finally i fought wif Ying. She's very defensive but good avoiding skills to have. I can't hit her at all when she avoids but still fun to keiko wif her cos i was oredi relaxing from the previous xiong keiko.
• Later we went to Mac for dinner & Joyce send me and the rest of us home.
